About Me

Hello! Hallo! Caio! Bonjour! Hola! Namaste! Konnichiwa! Habari!

Thanks for visiting my website!

I’m Robyn. I was lucky enough to live in Germany for two years and am an avid traveler.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved traveling and experiencing new cultures. I mean, what isn’t great about learning about new people, languages, and cuisine?

Being born in The Bronx, New York, my early life was spent hearing various languages while walking to the park, piquing my interest in cultures. Being a child in such a diverse environment allowed me to try different kinds of cuisine and to be introduced to what others may never be introduced to first-hand. A simple ride on the subway was like stepping into a globe. After moving to Pennsylvania when I was 10, I saw that not everywhere is as diverse as The Bronx, which is OK. However, this seeming lack of diversity only fueled my wanderlust more, making me want to travel to new places any opportunity I could.

Travel is in my blood, with my mother immigrating from Ireland to the States in the 1980s. So, I’ve been traveling to Europe since I was a wee babe. I don’t remember the early trips, and so I decided to take the leap and create memories that I would remember in 2015. Traveling on an airplane by myself was nerve-wracking, to say the least, but thankfully, I had family waiting for me on the other side. The experience was life-changing. Since then, I have visited Ireland, England, France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and Spain. Most recently, I’ve added the Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, and Luxembourg, Spain, Greece, and Hungary to the list. Now, I’m living back home in America. I cannot wait to explore more of my own country!

On this blog, I hope to share my travel experiences, tips for traveling, and of course, some treasures of each location I go to. I feel that there is nothing more significant than experiencing a glimpse into a life other than your own, even if just for a few hours.
